The wet period included two large rainfalls during November and early December leading to spoilt flowering, very low berry numbers and an extremely low crop in most varieties. These low crops were blessed with cool dry conditions throughout the three months up to vintage giving fabulous flavour development very much like the 2002 season which makes me confident of wines that will age brilliantly.

Nose: On the nose you will find scents like; jasmine, mandarin, pear, citrus blossom, white stonefruit and grapefruit with hints of celery and pepper.

Palate: When you taste it, you'll get citrus and mandarin flavours with hints of celery seed and savory spice. The wine has good acidity and a textured feel, making it well-rounded. It also had 20% skin contact during production, which adds to its unique character.

Pairing: For a delicious dining experience, pair this Grüner Veltliner with a vibrant Vietnamese-style salad featuring lemongrass chicken or pork. Click For Recipe

Winemaker: Crafted by Award Winning Wine Maker Shane Harris

Viticulturist: Cultivated with passion by Adelaide Hills Award Winning Viticulturist Geoff Hardy

Alc: 13.2

pH: 3.13

TA: 6.40 g/L

GF: 0.5 g/L
