2022 was a dream vintage where the conditions have been quite temperate with certainly no hot spells to stress the hand picking crew and winery. Also no significant rainfall events and good night temperatures for our machine harvesting.
Every one of our varieties have benefited from these fabulous conditions and the flavours are incredibly exciting at this stage.
With the impact of Covid on vintage staff we have been blessed to get through unscathed from a timing and capacity point of view. Thanks goes to our family and friends for filling in where staff have had to be in isolation.
We can’t wait to show off the new vintage whites as they have been probably the greatest beneficiaries of our great Kuitpo vintage weather.
Keep your eyes peeled for our 2022 K1 Sauvignon Blanc and Gruner Veltliner...and of course the Fiano, Verdelho and Pinot Grigio under the Hand Crafted label. These are all to be released over the next four or five months.
