Story:  The Reserve Shiraz represents the pinnacle of quality from the K1 vineyard, specifically sourced from the prestigious Avenue Block. This block consistently produces exceptional fruit, showcasing the unique terroir of Kuitpo. With meticulous viticulture and careful attention to detail, the Avenue Block delivers intense, concentrated fruit that forms the backbone of this premium wine. Crafted with precision and aged in the finest French oak, the Reserve Shiraz is a wine of elegance, power, and complexity, embodying the best of its region.

Vintage: 2021 was an outstanding vintage for the Adelaide Hills. A wet Spring and early budburst conditions were ideal or flowering and fruit of most varieties. The ripening period remained mild giving the fruit extended time on the vine to achieve excellent flavour and ripeness balance with good levels of natural acidity.

Nose: Aromatic thyme and vanilla are complemented by vibrant red cherry and raspberry, creating a bouquet that is fresh and inviting.

Palate: A creamy, generous palate with layers of cherry, violets, and raspberry, balanced by a touch of dark, bitter chocolate for depth, all leading to a long, seamless finish with velvety tannins.

Pairing: Elevate the experience with South American-inspired decadence: perfectly chargrilled ribeye steak topped with vibrant chimichurri, accompanied by crispy duck fat potatoes and a side of charred seasonal vegetables drizzled with garlic butter.
