Story: Tempranillo, often called the 'noble grape' of Spain and a key player in Rioja wines, earned its name from its early ripening nature. Our 2022 vintage is the earliest red in the bottle. The fruit is 100% destemmed and undergoes slow fermentation at cool temperatures to retain freshness. Afterward, it's aged for 9 months in stainless steel to maintain fruit purity while the natural fruit tannins provide structure for a delightful palate experience.
Vintage: 2022 Higher than average rainfall over winter followed by a warm and dry spring resulting in even budburst and a textbook start for the vintage. A cool but relatively dry summer gave us beautiful even ripening conditions. This slow ripening allows great flavour development and retention of natural acidity
Nose: This wine welcomes you with enticing aromas of raspberry, cocoa nib, blackberry, bubble-gum, and a touch of basil.
Palate: On the palate, it's a burst of raspberry and plum flavours, complemented by notes of liquorice. The wine offers a great texture that enhances the overall tasting experience.
Pairing: Indulge in the rich and robust character of Tempranillo with spiced lamb kofta served alongside a refreshing cucumber and yogurt dip.
Cellaring: Drink now to 2032
