Story: This Red Blend is crafted through a family tradition. Each vintage, the family gathers around the table to taste and decide on the final blend, ensuring it captures the essence of the year’s harvest. The blend composition may vary annually, sourced from various regions across South Australia, making each release a unique reflection of the land and season.

Vintage: 2022 Higher than average rainfall over winter followed by a warm and dry spring resulting in even budburst and a textbook start for the vintage. A cool but relatively dry summer gave us beautiful ripening conditions. This slow ripening allows great flavour development and retention of natural acidity.

Nose: Ripe plum and blackberry lead the way, supported by a gentle lift of dark cherry and a hint of dried herbs. There’s a soft savoury edge that keeps it grounded and inviting.

Palate: Bright and juicy through the front palate, showing generous dark fruit with a touch of red berry freshness. Fine tannins and balanced acidity give it shape, finishing clean, tidy and nicely structured.

Pairing:  Great with a classic spaghetti bolognese—the wine’s bright fruit and soft tannins work perfectly with the rich tomato and savoury mince.
