Hand Crafted
Adelaide Hills
Story: Durif was developed in southern France by Dr François Durif in the late 1800s from a cross between Syrah and Peloursin. Known for producing deeply coloured, full-flavoured wines, Durif thrives in the Adelaide Hills, where cooler conditions help retain freshness and balance.
Vintage: The 2024 vintage was very cool and very even in temperature, so we were able to harvest each variety in its perfect window of premium ripeness for the intended wine styles. This was the third cool year in a row and the fruit flavours across the board were exceptional.
Nose: The nose shows ripe blackberry and red berry fruits, with hints of black pepper and spice. It is lifted and expressive with plenty of varietal character.
Palate: The palate is full flavoured with notes of blackberry, plum and spice. Bright acidity provides freshness and balance, while fine tannins carry the wine through to a long finish.
Pairing: Try with a roasted rib eye on the bone served with balsamic glazed root vegetables. Click For Recipe
Cellaring: Drink now or to 2034
