2025 K1 Autumn Harvest

Story: The Riesling, Gewurztraminer& Chardonnay grapes for this Autumn Harvest are picked later than we would normally pick for a dry white wine. The additional time accompanied with the botrytis infection provides this wine with luscious sweetness and a lingering intensity.

Vintage: The 2025 vintage brought a return to warm, dry conditions after three cooler seasons, with an early start and consistently fast-paced ripening. Late in vintage we started to see the cool damp conditions we need for botrytis to set and the grapes were picked May 8th.

Nose: Fragrant and expressive, the nose opens with rose petal and lemon sorbet, followed by layers of quince, pear, and ripe peach. Hints of lemon myrtle add a fresh, aromatic lift, creating a bouquet that’s both vibrant and inviting.

Palate: Rich and luscious, the palate shows sweet pear and nectarine with delicate notes of lemon verbena. A gentle line of acidity balances the sweetness, giving the wine freshness and a lingering, elegant finish.

Pairing: Perfect alongside a pear and almond tart or a soft blue cheese with honey and toasted walnuts, where the wine’s sweetness and acidity create harmony on the palate. Click for Recipe
