Story: Tempranillo, often referred to as the noble grape of Spain and the backbone of many Rioja wines, takes its name from the Spanish word temprano, meaning early, in reference to its naturally early ripening. The fruit is 100% destemmed and fermented slowly at cool temperatures to preserve freshness and vibrant fruit character.
Vintage: A warm, dry growing season delivered an early and uninterrupted harvest. Fruit was picked in pristine condition, showing freshness, balance, and depth. With yields returning to normal and quality exceptionally high, 2025 stands out as one of the most promising vintages in recent years.
Nose: Lifted aromas of blueberry and blackberry lead the way, joined by notes of cocoa nib and a playful hint of bubble-gum. A subtle herbal touch of fresh basil adds an intriguing savoury lift.
Palate: The palate shows flavours of plum and black tea, layered with a thread of red liquorice. Supple texture and gentle structure give the wine a smooth, satisfying finish.
Pairing: Indulge in the rich and robust character of Tempranillo with spiced lamb kofta served alongside a refreshing cucumber and yogurt dip. Click For Recipe
