Story: Open canopies and low yields at the Kuitpo vineyard ensure that our Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are matured to optimum ripeness.

Nose: This wine offers restrained cool climate Cabernet aromas of cassis, herbs and blackberries.

Palate: The palate is structured and elegant with blackberries, cassis and chocolate complemented by fine tannins and a touch of mint on the long finish.

Food Pairings: Try the K1 Cabernet Sauvignon with a herb crusted lamb rack.

Oak Maturation: 30% new French oak for 18 months.
