Story:
K1 Reserve Chardonnay showcases the finest fruit from our cool-climate Kuitpo vineyard. The fruit is gently handled to preserve its natural aromatics before fermentation in French oak barriques. Each barrel develops its own character—some undergoing malolactic fermentation to build richness, while others retain bright natural freshness. The result is a Chardonnay with layered complexity, seductive texture and balance, reflecting both the vineyard and careful winemaking.

Nose:
The nose opens with fragrant aromas of apple, grapefruit and lemon blossom, supported by subtle almond notes that add warmth and depth.

Palate:
The palate shows layers of lemon curd and pink grapefruit, complemented by gentle spice, toasted oak and roasted hazelnut. A creamy texture and balanced acidity carry the wine through to a long, satisfying finish.

Pairing: Enjoy this Chardonnay with a mushroom and sage butter gnocchi.
